@Lozion – yeah, they allow more of that stuff through for sure, so I wouldn’t. I don’t think you’d find many other dirt riders with these in without some sort of pre-filter.

That said, a VP in the dirt? Do you ride in the dirt for fun, or? No judgement, just curious because I’d get a different bike if that was how I used my bike I think.

Very cool. For the second to the last pic, those are Vitpilen wheels right? Any problems or tips for swapping those out? What kind of hand deflectors are on the bike, and do the levers fit inside? It looks like they may’ve been turned down to fit, but not too sure. Thank you.

Did they give you a reason for the different oil? Sounds like you live somewhere pretty cold in any case. Lower oil numbers means the oil flows easier, so maybe that’s why.

I’ve cleared the yellow from my bike, but I really like those black rims.

Great pics, Brian. I was thinking about the tail tidy, and wondered if there was some way we could just bolt the OEM plate/signals holder to the bottom of the tail. It looks like it kind of fits, but I haven’t had time to check.

Thanks for the detailed reply. That wire actually looks like it has the most slack on my bike, maybe 2.5 inches of play.

I’m thinking that I’d be happy with risers that change the bar height even an inch. I’ll see if that option exists and will probably post to this thread once I find something that works for me.

Brian, did you have any trouble with the cables length when you installed the risers?

I want to go the same route, but there doesn’t seem to be too much play.
