Yes, they are available.
40% off of retail for the two pieces and hardware is about $315, and that sounds about right.
If you want them, you should PM.
Thanks for asking.
Yes, it’s on and active, yet they have not shipped yet.
They opened up to pre-orders about 6-8 weeks ago at a 20% discount.
Supposed to ship in a few weeks.
There is another thread on this site that talks about it in more detail if you wish more.
Possible it is your quick-shift kicking in before you actually shift. If you put some pressure on the shift lever, but not enough to shift gears, you can still actuate your quick-shift, which will result in symptoms as you describe.
You can alter the position of the shifter lever a bit to give you some more room before shifting or you can just…[Read more]
David Brazil started the topic Trade Your 2020 White Vitpilen Panels for my Black Vit Panels? in the forum Vitpilen 701 Parts & Accessories 3 weeks, 5 days ago
I have the standard, black side panels (behind the airbox that tucks under the seat) and want the white ones that are standard on the 2020 Blue Vitpilen.
If you are interested in the black panels and want to trade for your white ones, let me know. Mine are in perfect shape, and I would expect yours to be as well.
Thanks for considering.

Only suggestion would be to make sure that the battery is fully-charged and robust.
I had similar problems (not as bad) that were difficult to diagnose, but a battery swap took care of it.
This bike is very sensitive to battery voltage.
I have the set. On the loud side for me, and most of the specs I’ve seen show that adding a decat actually decreases HP a bit in the midrange. I haven’t seen any specifically for the Arrow, though.
I have a PCV installed with the downloadable maps from Dynotune. Seems to work ok.
Not sure about a power increase, but definitely a weight…[Read more]
Not possible to use the Vit parts – they have a different triple clamp and the headlight holder on the Vit bolts directly to the different holes on the triple clamp. Also, the rear of the cowl inserts into the triple clamp as well, in holes that are not in the Svart triple clamp.
I just determined this last weekend, as I purchased all the parts…[Read more]
Yes, I believe the maps that you can download from the Dynotune website are useable. They have at least 4 that are bike and accessory specific and seem to not be bad.
I purchased my PCV from a group that already had some info on dyno tune and they preset my PCV accordingly. But since that time, I have modified that tune. You can as…[Read more]
I installed an Arrow decat to my Svartpilen but wanted to allow the underfairing (aka “premuffler cover”) to stay. But, of course, without the cat, it’s not possible as it attaches directly to the cat.
Badwinners has a bracket that allows this, but it’s cost is not cheap, and the shipping is brutal. Shipping from France for one of these brackets…[Read more]
For whomever is interested, I recently purchased the bellypan bracket from BW and purchased two of them, so I have an extra one to sell.
The intent was to reduce shipping costs by sharing it with another buyer, but after I purchased it for them, they backed out.
It’s brand new and never been installed.
If you purchased it from BW today and had…[Read more]
It just unbolts and the Vit panels are underneath it.
Just look for the attachment bolts and start unscrewing. Some are underneath, some are under the seat, some are on the left.
I pulled mine off, and when putting it back on, you can do this if it’s not fully snapped together. It’s not a big deal, but it’s not installed correctly. There is a tab that fits in a slot and is not all the way in.

If you decated, you likely are no longer using this bracket that hangs down in the front. It’s silver and has a smooth bend in it. It’s located on one of the motor mounts, so you would have had to replace it with a bolt and spacer.
If you have it around and are not going to use it, I’d like to buy it from you. I live in Portland, OR.

I want to buy this bracket but the shipping price is crazy – $50, so I’m asking if there is any interest in buying them together to cut down on shipping costs.
I believe the bracket can be reshipped in the US for <$10, so depending upon how many people are interested, shipping would likely be $20 ($10 towards the France shipping then $10 to get…[Read more]

You can help this situation by making the toe-piece of the shifting arm higher, so it doesn’t engage as quickly relative to your clutching hand. I had the same problem on my ride home when I first bought the bike, and the QS engages prior to my clutching hand action, so they are slightly out of sync and the engine cuts out before I have the clutch…[Read more]
I like to do it myself, because I know it’s done right (I’m a mechanic), it’s much more convenient, and there is no cost. And, since it’s modified, there’s the chance that it might be tagged and I’ll have warranty issues.
Many years ago, I brought my GPz550 in for it’s first service. It was running oddly on the ride back, and long story short,…[Read more]
