Hello. Tried to do home-service today. Got my new shift spring today so wanted to change it. Everything went easy-peasy untill i had to put it all together. That is not easy task so had a lot of f words during that process. In the end – got broken thread in the housing. Is it an easy fix – making new bigger thread, changing screw and distancer (dont know the name for that little part)? Or should i start worying and get my dealers phone number and wait for pay check.

Where did you get the spring? Directly from Pirate?

    Cost? Shipping?

    Thanks.

@js71, I saw a video from some guy installing the spring a while ago, and the trick was to insert the bolt a few threads, and only then pull the spring around the lever with the roller.
