    Hi guys,

Just rode the bike back from its first 600 mile service and noticed the tank covers are misaligned. Anyone else had this issue? I wonder if its become warped or just needs to be realigned. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Will also let the dealer know but unfortunately I dont live too close so want to see if I can fix before taking it back.

hmm just read about fuel tanks swelling on other bikes. seems like that could be the issue here.

Maybe the mekanic at the service had the tank removed. And then fail when mounting it all togehter?

Have had problems with swelling plastic tank om my erlier bike(KTM 950 SM). Lets hope this vitpilen tanks are better constructed. Plastic tanks are actually no good. Specially when they are covered with other parts.

Hope its just a bad work in the workshop.

I pulled mine off, and when putting it back on, you can do this if it’s not fully snapped together. It’s not a big deal, but it’s not installed correctly. There is a tab that fits in a slot and is not all the way in.
