RPM1 : shift light starts to flash = start planing your gear change

RPM2 : shift light lights up constant = change gear

    hope this helps ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you for your answer, but my question is directed to the practical use of these settings and in which RPM should be put. I know it can be done after 1000km according to the manual

    Thank you very much

What would be a logical range to make changes in 701?

When I get my bike back, I’m going to try RPM 1 set to max torque level, and RPM 2 to max power level. On the SP401 I think these are 7000rpm and 9000rpm respectively. Not sure what they are for the 701.

Then, if you are really riding hard, change up a gear when the red lamp goes constant (RPM 2) and change down a gear if the lamp stops flashing, keeping the engine between max torque and max power. Dunno what else you’d use them for really, but I’m open to suggestions.

As I found out on the internet, RPM1 should be set to 6,750 (maximum torque) and RPM2 to 8,000 (maximum power)

Looks like I need to adjust my shift lights then! They’re triggering at 6500 and 7000.
