I haven’t taken delivery of my bike yet. Before I order a radiator guard, is it easy to take the two plastic ends off?

Did you guys just mount with the top two bolts? Nothing at the bottom?

This is a two minute job two bolts at the top and two at the bottom plastic ends snap off and on. I even mastered this mod.

So how do you get the plastic ends off? Brute force? 😀

I just installed this guard from Amazon made for the Duke 390, took minimal modification to the plastic side caps with a Dremel or grinder. Looks really good, plus light weight and strong stainless steel to protect from rocks or road debris.
