I’m thinking of getting the Coober unit. I’ve heard great things. There is one specifically made and tested for the 701 and 401 engines. I know for sure that the Coober unit is the ONLY ECU that does not void the warranty for KTM so I’m assuming it will be the same for Husky.
I notice that Coober states significantly lower performance figures than Husqvarna’s claimed 75 hp and 72 Nm of torque. Cycle World’s dyno test (https://www.cycleworld.com/2018-husqvarna-vitpilen-701-dyno#page-2) came much closer to the claimed figures. Anyone with a logical explanation as to why two different dyno tests can differ this much?
