    Hi all,

I know there’s a previous thread on this, but I’m hoping now that some more time has passed maybe more owners have lowered theirs. I’m basically looking to get close to 2″ lower than stock. The factory lowering kit apparently lowers it 25mm (1″)… has anyone worked with a suspension shop to lower it more than that? Any luck with shaving down the seat?

I’d love to hear about anything you’ve done or learned about lowering it…

    thanks very much!

How short is your inseam? If you are trying to flat foot the bike, that isnt a common thing even for taller riders. I generally only put my left foot down at stops.

Hyper pro kit lowers it 30mm and then you could slide the forks in the triple tree for a bit more or have a custom rear shock made by wilbers or Nitron

yep, not about flatfooting. Just looking to be able to put one foot down while still holding the bike at a reasonable angle.

I’d really love to hear from anyone who actually has successfully lowered the Vit or Svart 1.5-2”, how they find it, handling-wise, and how they did it.

    thanks!
