    Hi all,

    I currently own an ’07 Aprilia RSV1000R, a ’68 BSA Bantam and a ’10 Yamaha YBR125.

To be honest, I’m bored of the Aprilias unreliability performance and fancy a change. I am also finding it hard to enjoy the bike fully on UK roads due to bad roads, decreasing speed limits etc.

I sat on a 401 at the London bike show a couple years back and thought it was a thing of beauty and told myself I must have one one day.

I’m going to test ride a 2018 and maybe a 2020 model at some point over the next couple of weeks.

I know next to nothing about the brand and was wondering if there is there anything I should look out for if/when I purchase one? Any known problems etc?

Below are photos of the current bikes if anyone is interested.

    Ade

@slumana AYY! glad you are considering the brand ! honestly this little bike is a blast. you get on this thing and its like the hooligan comes out lol. plenty of torque and speed inner city ! like many bikes there may be some tweaks here and there but nothing that would keep you from not loving this bike.(in my opinion)  since you did own an aprilia i am not quite sure if you would rather go with the more aggressively positioned ergonomics of the Vit or looking to opt out for a more up right stance with the Svart regardless they are both a hoot!

there is nothing to crazy make sure you check you clutch cable as i have some seen some individuals fray theirs. (not quite sure how but ive seen a thread on here) and also if the bike comes with all the original stock parts and manuals. the bike does sometimes tend to stall out when rev matching on 3rd gear if you aren’t careful and rev boming while shifting down in third gear.

i have out about 4k miles on this bike and have not run into a single issue !

    good luck !
