Picked up my near new Husky last Saturday.

    Mods so far:
    Removed the baffle
    Exhaust hanger
    Bar end mirrors
    airbox lid removed
    15 tooth front sprocket
    Brembo SC pads (recommended!)

And a bunch of other stuff coming in the next few days.

Welcome and nice photo and bike mate!

What brand front sprocket did you get?

    Thanks sir!

    I installed a regular (non-damped) JTF1902.15 on the front.

Very nice. How did you find the difference with moving to 15 teeth? Have you thought about going 42 on rear as well?

Yeah, I thought about that too, and I may do that as well one day. That said, since the swap to 15 tooth only and the removeal of the airbox lid, it feels very good in traffic. And it still doesn’t rev too high on the freeway.

I may just leave it like this.

Fair call, I put an order in for sprockets so will be seeing how it rides.

Nice pic, I just got my 15 tooth dampened sprocket that I plan on putting on soon.  I feel like the bike is geared a little tall.  It’s good to see you have had good results with the swap!

And yes, I agree, the stock gearing is too tall. With a 15 tooth it still feels a little tall in 1st gear, but apart from that it feels fine now. I received the fuel dongle from Rottweiler yesterday and that calmed down the nervous behavious in city traffic (no more stalling on intersections lol).

Bike is perfect now, wads of midrange torque. Can’t wait to take it into the canyons.

Greetings from LA as well.  So you recommend the Rottweiler dongle?  Does it help with the jerkyness at low rpms?

Did removing the baffle alter the tone of the exhaust?  More bass? Less bass?

Took my Vit in the canyons yesterday, and man what a wonderful bike this is. This is what it was made for…

Few updated pics after a few months of ownership. I never liked the yellow so I’m doing a litle test here with Plastidip. Apart from that this bike is a keeper. And I think it’s just finished like this. There ain’t much left I’d want to change on it.
