As all of you know the last models presents by Husqvarna are electric, with the E pilen and the scooter too, so what do you think about the Vitpilen and Svartpilen with petrol engines in tue future? Will be the last edition whitout electric enginesthe actual model year?

I think we will see at least another iteration of the small and mid sized ‘Pilens with petrol engines. The 901 Norden is coming soon, and I’d be surprised if we don’t see smaller twin cylinder Vitpilen and Svartpilen bikes badged as 501 and 801. The new “e-pilen” concept is a little disappointing for me as it is very low powered with just 10hp. Basically just the equivalent of a 125cc bike, not a replacement for even just the 200, 250 or 401 bikes, never mind the 701’s. And I don’t want a super heavy electric motorcycle to replace my lightweight 401! Hopefully the battery tech will improve over the next 5 years or so to bring lighter but still powerful electric bikes.
