Foot pegs…anyone upgraded?

Hello all…I find the stock pegs on my Svart to be very slippery when they get wet…in Oz we get the rubber ones not the round aluminium ones…

I am considering a couple of options:

    • Husky round aluminium ones
    • Aventure bike type bigger wider platform

For those that have the round Husky aluminium ones…have ridden in the wet and how did you find them?

Anyone fitted other aftermarket pegs to their bike?

    Cheers,

    Steve

    Hi Steve,

I never felt comfortably with the original rubber ones, my shoes were always moving because of the small raise on the edges. So, like one year ago, I changed to the aluminum ones (KTM PowerParts, stock for Vit. 701 in 2020) and I could not be happier with them. They provide perfect grip in wet and dry conditions for different shoes I use. Actually, this was one of the best updates I did and improved the riding on this bike a lot, further, they just look awesome 🙂

    Best wishes, Andreas

Sentaitonal thanks for the response…I just ordered a pair today…makes me feel excited now…great to hear they give grip in the wet as well…

Also agree with what you said about the “edge” they have an odd feeling.

    Thanks again…

<p style=”text-align: left;”>I swapped to the round aluminum ones and they feel great.  Cheap purchase and easy install.</p>
