Evotech Carbon Shark Fin

    bought this for track days and I think it looks pretty awesome in carbon, bolt on, I combined it with Evotech rear paddock stand bobbin. They don’t officially sell 401 stuff but the Duke / Rc390 product will work.

    You will need to get your own M10 / 45mm or 50mm / 1.5mm thread hex bolt as the one supplied is 1.25mm  thread which I guess is what the KTM uses.

    It looks good, but what does it do exactly?

    Stops your hands or feet going into the sprocket in the even of a crash which can lead to amputation or a very big mess. It has been mandatory for racing here in New Zealand for awhile now and i am guessing the rest of the world. Chances of it happening are fairly rare but it has happened.

    Didn’t know that!

    When I bought my Vit 701 it had one too, an aluminium one. And the previous owned used it for a trackday once or twice, so that makes sense. Took it off btw, never knew what it was for on a road bike. Has to be still in a box somewhere….
