Hey.

I’ve been very interested in getting a 2021 Svartpilen 401 for some time now, only I’m hung up on the exhaust issue. From what I’ve seen the options for exhausts seems limited for the post 2020 Indian made models.

I like the old school 225mm exhaust from Delkevic. I’ve seen them on a few Duke 390s and they sound great. Problem is they only offer them for the 2018-2019 401s.

They also offer the same exhaust for the 2017-2020 Duke 390. I’ve heard that 390 exhausts are cross compatible with the 401s, but is that only true for the pre 2020 models, or will they also fit a 2021?

Hello again.

I’ve been doing my research. It appears the answer is no, the 2017-2019 Duke 390 muffler does not fit onto a 2020- 401 chamber or chamber delete. However it appears that a complete 2017-2019 390 exhaust system will fit onto a 401, including I assume/tempt fate, a Delkevic muffler and de-cat pipe. So just putting that out there. Will update if I choose to go down this route for anyone who may be interested.
