    Hi!

I just installed a new exhaust on my 2018 Svartpilen 401. I have installed the LeoVince Lv-10 slip-on exhaust. But this exhaust doesn’t come with a db-killer. So, i was wondering if anyone knows if there is a db-killer option for this exhaust? Or if someone has any experience with db-killers on this exact slip-on exhaust?

For me the exhaust sound was a bit too loud, but way better then the stock option. So i think that maybe a db-killer will make the needed difference to make it perfect for me!

    Thanks in advance

For anyone else looking for a db killer for the LV-10, LeoVince did indeed release one recently. You can find it on their page: https://www.leovince.com/en-dk/product/3015200801r-dbkiller

Here is the technical drawing for it: https://storage.gra.cloud.ovh.net/v1/AUTH_ac434bf2b1a448bc980f9f33012daf94/static/products/dt/DT-3015200801R.PDF

From a product sheet I found:

    • PART #: 3015200801R
    • IT CANNOT BE USED FOR THE NEW LV-10 CARBON FIBER
    • STATIC NOISE REDUCTION: around3-4 db(A)*
    • DYNAMICNOISE REDUCTION: around1-2db(A)*
    • POWER REDUCTION: 1,5/2,5%*
    • IT CAN BE USED ONLY IN COMBINATION WITH A CONNECTION PIPE DIAMETER 54mm
    • CHECK ACTUAL COMPATIBILITY IN THE MASTER PRODUCT LIST
    • RETAIL PRICE: 39$
    • DELIVERY DATE: AVAILABLE

*(may vary according to the model)

On another note, I’ve seen dyno charts where this exhaust slightly decreased torque due to lack of backpressure. Wondering if performance will improve with the db killer due to slight backpressure increase?
