tried posting elsewhere on general discussion. will try posting here.   i believe more people would like to see this and it did not seem to get much attention on the “general discussion” board.  🙁

    trying again:

custom pipe bends for cat delete and muffler delete

the stock header and sensor were retained

    hope this gives people ideas!

Nice work man. I wouldn’t know where to begin to do something like that.

Don’t be too down on lack of replies – this place is pretty dead. It’s too niche to support itself.

I saw the original post and didn’t quite understand the difference between this and the cat muffler delete pipe I bought from ebay for £99.00.

I understand you paid $200 for this pipe.

What is the difference between the two and the additional benefit?

That might give some thought to others out there looking and get you a few more responses.

    cheers

    the difference!!  of course!! 😀

On a stock bike, the exhaust goes like this:

    header with sensor to

    catalytic converter to

    pipe to

furst muffler, located in the “A” of the swing arm to

    slip on muffler.

my custom bend here replaces everything from the cat to the first muffler.  🙂

oh, for anyone comparing mine to this prefab version, i can’t say the prefabs are good fits.  they just look similar is all.  someone else can maybe verify or call the manufacturer.

    Hi Mate

horses for courses, yours works and so does mine, fits really well, 20 mins to swap out, it is a matter of personal preference is all.

You can buy similar from Ebay for as cheap as £35 too in the UK, I chose to go for a named brand, so I made a choice to pay more just like you did, there is no harm in that for guaranteed quality!

You rock on and enjoy the true, straight through, thumper noise !

    cheers
