Hey,
New rider on a block with a question.
Is it possible to replace standard BOSH ABS with BOSH Cornering ABS on vitpilen 701? It looks like they added to supermoto 701 a better ABS version.

No, not really unless you are super handy and willing to spend hundreds (thousands?) of dollars. Not saying it’s impossible, but yeah, it requires a lot of specialist knowledge and money.

Btw, why would you want cornering ABS in the first place? It only adds so much extra safety, you can’t beat physics….

I believe duke 690R (>2016) got cornering abs. Vitpilen has the same Bosch IMU but has no gyro sensor.

The 701 got one last year..

I don’t understand why KTM/Husqvarna don’t put it in every bike with the right IMU?!

There is no IMU on any year 701 Pilen afaik.

it should be a Bosch 9M+ Two Channel according to media

Bosch says its an  “Motorcycle ABS enhanced” check here
