    Because 2020s don’t come with torx from the factory.

    @scubbadubbers
    It’s different on the 2020s.

    @gcwinatx @scubadubbers
    The 2020 bars are different than previous models.
    I just had to get 2019 bars to really do anything with the bar ends.

    @B

    Can you post a picture of the 2020 bar ends?

    I wonder why they went to a threaded bar end.

    It seems like a lot of subtle changes were made from the 2019 – 2020 model, but not sure as to why.

    @scubadubbers
    2020 Husky started producing the Vitpilen in India and dropped the MSRP around $1k
    They changed a grip.
    Here is a decent thread: 2020 401 differences from 2018/2019
    I kind of wish I grabbed a ’19
    But then I got adjustable front suspension along with “quick shift” (which is rarely used) etc…

    Your bike is looking gooooood btw.

    2018/2019 models came with ducati torx i recently ordered some and were surprised they came with the ducati stamp on the pack.

    they changed those parts for the 2020 to make it baja cheap so the adjustable suspension on the 20`S could be done by saving at other parts and large production orders…

    just noticed that basically the 2020 401 svart is based on the 2020 390 adventure framework/exhaust piping etc & no more ktm brands inside airbox and other platics stuff

    the 18/19 svart 401 are based on the 390 duke framework which is according my opinium RAT

    @-373-Arrow the 2020 401 is NOT based on the 390 Adventure. The 390 Adventure uses the same frame as the 790 adventure and is a larger bike.

    Installed my short levers today.  Straight forward install.  The look and feel better, plus they got rid of the vertical slop the OEM ones have.

    The screw that holds the clutch lever in your pictures is different than mine. Is it some after market or is mine from somewhere else (my bike was bought second hand)
