Someone who also experienced that the starter won’t turn when pressing the e-start button?

This afternoon my bike wouldn’t turn over by pressing the button, after a few tries it suddenly started turning over.

Someone here who might know what the problem is?

    Greetings, Gertjan

    Bad battery?

Starter solenoid or loose wiring could be culprits.

This bike is VERY sensitive to battery charge. Make SURE that your battery is fully charged. This has happened twice with my bike. A full charge made the problem go away.

    I’m ordering a charger!

I’m also thinking about changing battery to a Li—ion one. Saving some kilograms.

Checked the wiring, seems to be fine. Think it’s a low battery

Careful with li-ion.  It requires different care and specific precautions for cold weather and storage.  I upgraded to a glass matt instead and it has been great.  A bit lighter than the stock lead acid and smaller as well.  They hold charge longer and give more cold crank power to the starter.  That’s what these bikes need.

Do you have a link to such a battery mate?

    I’m interested.

Check out yuasabatteries.com.  it’s what I have.  Solved my staring issue and now powers a GoPro as well with no issues.

Any glass mat battery will be better than the stock lead acid battery.
