@rlarue – No compensation needed. I’d say the manufacturer (HERE) is stretching the definition of “Completely Plug & Play” as you do need to drill a 1/2″ hole beneath the seat, and you’d better have on hand a 1-1/4″ socket, a T45 torx—OH and a torque wrench capable of measuring 104 ft/lbs.
They are super-bright, and I couldn’t be happier with the finished product.

Maybe it’s not too late. Where do you drill the wiring hole for that one, is it directly below where the tail light slips in? Can you take any close up pix of how the wiring routes to the rear indicators once installed?
Did you have to drill more hole in the tail under side to mount the plate?
