Manual says don’t rev over 6k during first 1000km/620mi. That’s mostly it.
The only things I would add are:
1) Don’t lug the motor. The 701 motor can be luggy in its lower rev range, and when you aren’t revving over 6k you are in that range a lot.
2) Watch the oil consumption, mine was way down by time of first service.
3) Don’t let it sit at a static RPM (as in when riding on freeways for long stretches). Try to move through the gears frequently.
4) See if your dealer will install the latest ECU update it just got when they prep the bike for you. It helps the low-end fueling.
